Ashtray é uma banda brasileira de Vila Velha, Espírito santo, formada em 2015 pelo guitarrista Filipe Vighini(ex- I Shit On Your Face, Await Rottenness) e o baterista Augusto Marini(ex- Ass flavour, ex- Fullgore, Delicta Carnis). Após um ano criando para o primeiro álbum, Wiliam de Oliveira(Internaldeath, Truemassacre, Skullfurted) chega para tocar baixo e dividir os vocais. O estilo musical de Ashtray apresenta guitarras pesadas e rápidas, vocais guturais e bateria viceral, caracteristicas que vieram diretamente de suas influências thrash metal e death metal nas suas mais variadas vertentes. A tematica da banda envolve guerras, assassinos em série, genocídeo, terrorismo, torturas, corrupção e experimentação humana.

After one year making songs to the first album, Wiliam de Oliveira(Internaldeath, Truemassacre, Skullfurted) join to play bass and share the vocals. Ashtray's musical style brings fast and breakneck guitars, harsh vocals and Gut drums, features that came from influences of thrash metal and death metal in all different forms . The lyrical subjects are about wars, serial killers, genocide, terrorism, torture, corruption, human experimentation.
